My weekend... not so exciting

Yesterday Hot Editor inspired me to go running. I think I went for about a half a mile and found myself winded. As I've said, I'm very much out of shape. Definitely need to work on that! The things you'll try out/ do when you're interested in someone. At the same time, I'm kind of losing patience at Hot Editor. I'll comment on something, and then he'll say something in response that sounds almost condescending. Maybe it's just the medium of e-mails. I don't know if he thinks of me as a potential... You'll never guess what I ran into on the elevator...

The company I'm with shares a building with some of the NYU offices, so what you run into are a lot of NYU students, going to class or whatever. I shared an elevator today, coming back from lunch, with two of them. One was wearing an almost obscenely short white skirt (she had to keep tugging it down in back in order to get it to cover her butt). This girl was not skinny, and so she had to do a lot of tugging. I've decided to stay at my temp job for another week. The agency is going through a lot of change right now and it would be kind of mean for me to jump ship right now. Besides, some of my coworkers have invited me to happy hour with them next week; and how can I refuse an invitation like that? The people at my internship said that's fine, as long as I'm definitely there on the 14th--to which I replied that I definitely would be. The Hot Editor and some interns

So I have been messaging back and forth with Hot Editor. At the suggestion of a friend, he entered the lottery for the NYC Half Marathon, which he's both excited and scared about. In response, I joked that I'm so out of shape that I run two miles, come home, and yell, theatrically, "my legs are broken!" No really, that's what I do. Sometimes. But I really am out of shape and need to get back to the gym more often. Is it weird how attracted to this guy I am, and yet I've never met him in person?... Sign in to see full entry.

I don't really believe in karma...

but if I did, I would say it came, eventually, to bite me in the ass. When I was in high school, there was this boy, who had a crush on me. No boy had ever shown interest in me before, and I was really shy (still am, in case you couldn't tell), so I didn't know how to handle the situation and ended up treating the kid like shit. To top it all off, the guy in question was shy himself; and although he never came right out and told me he liked me, I still knew based on the things he said and did.... Sign in to see full entry.
