I have a problem with my "favorites" list. Its over three pages long--and I'm afraid to cut it down. I devote a significant amount of my time here on blogit to read other people, though I do make time to write myself. As you can see, I'm on here quite often, or more than I should be! Anyways, I can't seem to bring myself to pare down my list because I feel so bad about doing so. There are people on that list who read me and comment on me, but the problem lies in the fact that I'm just not that... Sign in to see full entry.
An idea
As I mentioned here, http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/Kasthu/406715, I wrote that I wished Blogit had a section in which bloggers could write about literature, or things they've read. I'm considering shelling out the few extra dollars a month or however much it costs to have a second blog devoted just to the stuff I read. Christmas gifts; job searching; etc.
I usually think I'm an easy person to shop for, for Christmas. It seems that I always end up getting what I want. So its a surprise to me when people tell me that I'm hard to shop for. After putting in more calls to temp agencies (I have an interview at one in... Sign in to see full entry.

My roommate and I have a Christmas tree!
Its a small one (about a foot tall), that my mom bought for us... but its a real, live Christmas tree all the same! The packaging was actually a small plastic bag and it came with the lights and ornaments included. It's a very cute tree! I'm not normally into the whole decorating for Christmas thing, but I certainly enjoyed decorating my tree. I'm already starting to make plans for the Christmas break, which is, surprisingly, not that far away. If I'm unemployed by the middle of December, I'm... Sign in to see full entry.
A very productive day
...more so than I've had in a long time, what with Thanksgiving and all. I spent the morning filling out applications--specifically, to the Ann Taylor Loft and the Barnes and Noble that are in my neighborhood. Ann Taylor Loft seems like the most promising, but I'll have to see. With regards to the job search, its time I took a step back, and that's what I'm doing; finding a job in retail is fine for the present, or until I can find a real job. For the Ann Taylor job, I had to do a Web... Sign in to see full entry.
