Richard slept for 9 hours on Tuesday night. I woke up at 8:15am and he was still asleep. It was great to sleep all night. I had depended on Richard to wake up early since my massage therapist and the new caregiver were coming at 10:00am. I figured he would get me up early as usual. I had to fix breakfast, bath and dress Richard, take a shower, straighten up downstairs, and the kitchen and....... Well, I made it. Well, we woke up to a snowy surprise this morning. It is just enough to be pretty and not on the roads. It was nice to wake up after sleeping a good night's sleep, finally. The kids came over last night and we had pizza and Brooke brought me a birthday cake from TCBY. It is nice to start having nice memories again. Joe came over yesterday and took Richard out to get new locks and screws to put up the safety bar in the bathroom finally. I took advantage of "me" time and rested. Richard has felt... In retrospect it was a marriage of convenience. She was out of homes to go to and he was a lost soul. Of course in the beginning, it seemed like a fairytale.
