I could always tell when I a patient had a patient starting the dying process by looking into their eyes. The light in their eyes begins to dim The eyes are the window to the soul. I believe. the soul leaves the body slowly allowing for movement by the person through the grief process of losing our old self and the a to ability to perform physical tasks as we move toward transition.
