Lancashire landscapes, etc...

The weather was cloudy mostly with bits of sunlight today, and we drove to the town of Skipton where there is a castle--but after a bit of walking through the town and lunch, we decided to save the castle tour for another day. Why there are not more photos

54 degrees North Latitude vs 39 degrees North Latitude... That's the difference between Walley, Lancashire UK and Colorado Springs, CO USA. Via Iceland

The flight was not as long as some journeys to visit my middle child: only 6 1/2 hours from Denver to Reykjavik, then about 30 minutes standing around between planes, and another 2 1/2 hours to Manchester. A few new skies

Just booked my flight...

I'm going back to England in January for 3 weeks, to celebrate Marika's birthday and her graduation from her Master's program, and of course to meet my granddaughter who is expected in mid-December.
