I must admit that I travel direct to Australia with just one short 3 hrs in Vancouver on the way out but it isn't so easy to connect on the way back. i could travel a more comfortable airline if I went through the USA but I refuse to ever get caught up in the Circus that it is if you are not a USA citizen even in transit. And this has been my experience years before the present regime for non citizens. So for me, 15 hrs in the air is better than taking a couple of layovers.

thanks for the trip...I avoid connecting in paris since they are airports suck and it takes them forever to get you in a crowded room to wait for people to check you in for the next flight...
