Today was not too bad. I worked a bit late. That is not good, but I had to. I also forgot my little moleskine book. I could not jot down my notes to prompt me for my writing tonight. Dottie is our Dalmatian. I was playing with her yesterday and it was very sad. My old girl is 11 and is beset with several maladies. She has arthritis, diabetes, is deaf, and blind in her right eye and can’t see too well out of her left. She is doing quite well though. Quit laughing! She really is.... Sign in to see full entry.

It was time to go to the eye doctor for a checkup. I also knew it was time to get bifocals. I just can not see to read very well anymore. My arms have gotten too short! I know you people on here are tired of hearing about this. But I am going to continue to write about it. I got my first check for my articles for the magazine I am going to write for. I finalized my writing deal with the magazine today. I will go in tomorrow and sign a contract. The publication will use three of my articles over the next two months and probably more. My wife is.........well, er.....let’s just say she’s too old to be on American Idol. That is probably a good thing. That does not stop her from trying to sing during commercials on the show. It was back to regular work today. I made it fine. I hate sitting at a desk working, but that is my job for a bit and that it what I am going to do. After talking it over with my family it has been decided I will stay in Texas for the most part to see how this writing thing goes.
