Back from my Louisiana trip

We are back from our quick little trip to Louisiana. We went to attend a celebration of my brother and his wife’s 25th Wedding Anniversary. That is a great thing. Not many couples last that long in marraige today. I think there is a simple reason my brother and his wife have lasted that long. Of... Sign in to see full entry.

To be more exact they are progressive bifocals. I guess that means I got them because my eyes have gotten progressively... Sign in to see full entry.

New topics for magazine articles; a bit warmer, but nasty!

I got my new articles for the magazine I write for here in town. Actually, it’s a list and we can pick a choose from some items. When we meet with the editor she may also assign some shorter tidbits to fit in the magazine. I will pick the ones that interest me and write back a short synopsis of how... Still living; back to work; cold again

It was back to work today. I felt much better than I have been feeling. I can breathe some now. If you can’t breathe well you have to be tired all the time. Your body can’t possibly function well when you don’t get the proper amount of oxygen into it. So I feel much better and I will continue to... Sign in to see full entry.

Feelng much better; actually think I am alive now!

I am feeling much better. I actually think I am alive right now. That is the first day I have felt like this in about a week or so. And the problem is this and it’s simple for me; I rarely get sick. So when I do it’s just bad. I know most people would handle the illness I had much better than I did,... Sign in to see full entry.

Felt a little better today; upgraded to not nearly dead as he was!!

I felt a little better today. I don’t have the pressure that I had the past few days. I could breathe a little better but not much. It seems all the gunk in my chest feels it needs to hang on for dear life. But it was a much better day than the previous three or four. I will be fine soon. The... Sign in to see full entry.

Felt much better today; upgraded from mostly dead to somewhat dead!

It was shades of Saturday Night Live and General Franco the past few days as I try to emerge from this severe sinus infection I have. I was more dead than alive yesterday. Now, I think I am about 50-50 on the dead-alive thing. Of course, he was different degrees of really being dead the whole time.... Sign in to see full entry.

Sinus; sinus; sinus; and more sinus

I have been under the weather for the past few days. I did have a slight cold, but that was not too bad. Yesterday about time to go home from work I really started to feel bad. I knew something was wrong then. I usually feel much better when I leave work for home. I knew then it was going to be... Sign in to see full entry.

Wife called last night on trip; said she looked cute!!

My wife called last night from Dallas right before she left with her group to go to Gilley’s to dine and dance. She told me she was all decked out in her cowgirl finest from her brand new Stetson to her Roper’s. She said she looked some good. Well....I already knew that. That’s one of the things I... Wife out of town on business; niece and I holding down fort!

My wife is out of town for a few days. She is in Dallas on a business trip. So the niece and I along with our herd of animals are holding down the fort. It is much different without my wife here. She is the driving force in our whole deal. There is an emptiness without her here. I can really tell it... Sign in to see full entry.
