Okay. I’ve written about being able to find my way around at places I have never been before. And I’ve written about what happens when I practice Reiki. These experiences still amaze me. But they don’t compare to what I am about to write about. This is not something that I have shared with too many people. You'll understand why in a few minutes. Those of you who read this may choose to not read my posts anymore when I’m done explaining this event. Even I think it is a bit “out there”. The first... Sign in to see full entry.

I'm Always Amazed When a Healing Occurs
The first time I healed someone happened just after I graduated from college. It wasn’t much, but it was powerful for me. I was in training as a massage therapist and had just completed the first degree in Reiki. I was working at a local electronics manufacturer and had overheard a co-worker complaining of a sharp, stabbing pain in her upper back and neck. Seeing this as an opportunity to utilize my new skills, I offered to perform a Reiki treatment to help relieve her pain. Though hesitant at... Sign in to see full entry.

How Could a Child Give Directions to a Place He Had Never Seen, Heard of or
Been to? I was about 10 the first time it happened. My younger brother and I had flown into Denver by ourselves (with flight attendants doting on both of us the whole way) to spend the summer with my aunt. She picked us up at the airport early one morning and told us she was taking us first thing to an amusement park that was really popular in the area. She explained that she had never been there before, but had driven by it several times and knew she could get us there. As my brother and I took... Sign in to see full entry.

What if Limiting "God" is the Original Sin?
My friend Ariala wrote a post a few days back about how it is wrong to limit "God". She is right of course. It is wrong to limit "God". But that got me thinking. What if limiting "God" is not only wrong, it is the original sin? Now, work with me here for a minute. Forget about what you've read in the Bible. Forget about Adam and Eve and the apple and the snake. If "God" is love and creation (and "God" is), if we are divine (and we are) and if we partake in the creation of this reality with "God"... Forgiving and Not Forgetting Creates Conditional Love
I was reading on a website last night about forgiveness. This particular site had a pretty lively discussion going on, so I figured that would be a good place to read some other explanations on forgiveness. What I found was one particular individual who believed in forgiving, but not forgetting. In this person’s view, forgiveness is acceptable. It’s a lofty goal that all should aspire to. Forgetting however, is not necessary. This person explained that he could forgive what another had done to... Sign in to see full entry.

We Draw Every Person and Event to Us For a Reason. How We React is up to Us
There are currently a few challenges in my life. I have a brother who no one has heard from in 3 months – quite unusual for him since he usually shows up to ask for some of his money every week. We’re trying to decide whether or not to sell all of his belongings since the storage fees are eating away at his balance fairly quickly. I have a friend who had been staying with us who will soon be without a home again and has asked to come and live with us – something that would challenge my wife... Sign in to see full entry.

Do We Choose When and How We Die?
According to one view of life and death, there is no such thing as injustice and tragedy. Since every thing that happens to us we choose to have happen to us before we are born, then injustice, like this life we live, is an illusion. Injustice, the violation of what is right, cannot happen in this view because everything that happens is a learning experience. The same holds true for tragedy. Each “tragedy” is chosen by us before birth to help us learn more about ourselves, the divine, and love.... Sign in to see full entry.

What A Caterpiller Calls the End of the World, The Master Calls A Butterfly
This life is just one of many we will each experience. If one believes this, then it offers a whole different perspective on the events of this particular illusion that we share. While a pretty social and loving man, I have never been one to cry much at the deaths of friends or relatives. As a young child, I could not understand what all the fuss was about. My mom’s father died unexpectedly when I was about 10. He was a young man (late 50s) and was my favorite grandfather. When he died, I was... Sign in to see full entry.

I'm Pronoia and Proud of It!
I came across an interesting word this week end. It is “pronoia”, the opposite of paranoia. Here is the definition of the word given by the team that coined the word. “If paranoia is the irrational fear that life is out to get you, then pronoia is the reasonable faith that life is on your side, and that people are here to help you.” What a great word! And how completely true! Life is on your side. People are here to help you. Of course, if you continue to believe that the thing that we call life... Sign in to see full entry.

Your Bodily Aches and Pains Could Be the Christ Awakening Within
I found the following at a website ( www.crimsoncircle.com ). I thought it is an interesting take on one's emerging divinity: By Geoffrey Hoppe and Tobias 1. Body aches and pains, especially in the neck, shoulder and back. This is the result of intense changes at your DNA level as the "Christ seed" awakens within. This too shall pass. 2. Feeling of deep inner sadness for no apparent reason. You are releasing your past (this lifetime and others) and this causes the feeling of sadness. This is... Sign in to see full entry.
