Here I have elaborated on a much earlier blog, and I think that this says what I had meant to say, much better than the short one that I posted previously. Archaic words: Does anyone still say, “Here’s mud in your eye?” It seems to be a toast or salute. Mud has been in my eye, and it is to be avoided at all costs. Over the last three days, I appear to have gotten a grand total of ONE read to my last posting. I think that it was Mandalee or Sam444 who happened to click on my submission, within seconds of my posting it. After that, nothing. I was just standing outside, planning on what I hope to be able to accomplish this weekend. I still have dozens of strawberry plants that need planting in the ground. They are “June bearing,” and I may already be too late to expect much from these late starters. Right now, I am taking advantage of my black plastic mulch’s ability to warm the soil beneath it, by being exposed to direct sunlight. During last weekend, I began to get a page telling me to subscribe to Blogit in order to be able to read and write submissions, as I have been doing for over a year now. Sunday I wrote to their “Help” line, telling them that I AM a subscriber. I finally got a response from them yesterday. I was told that I had cancelled my account on April 11 th, but I know that I most certainly did NOT! I hear that there is a call to outlaw an herb from Mexico called salvia, by parents and lawmakers. I understand that it can give one a feeling of euphoria or a psychedelic experience if the reports I have heard are true. I wish that I had taken several high school classes that would have made my present day life less full of mysterious phenomenon that confound me now. Last night, I watched a program about the career of Jack Nicholson on the Bio channel. Although he is MUCH, MUCH older than I am, ( roughly 5 years) I clearly remember following his whole career, from the start of it, to the present day. Two days ago, I saw this year’s first snake. Since Marilyn’s grandbrat DJ. was standing nearby, I put the serpent, “ under arrest!” I held the little garter snake up and called to him, letting him know that I had something really neat to show him. I was just reading Strat’s latest posting in which he confessed about clowns giving him “the Willys.” I prefer calling them “the Williams,” knowing that all Williams have Willys, but Willys do not all have Williams.
