Well, the seasons certainly ARE a-changing! The republicans are beginning to smell blood in the water, and are anticipating victories in the upcoming mid-term elections. Yesterday Marilyn came back into the house, looking strangely shaken, after having hooked Baby to the retractable leash that keeps him close to the porch, instead of next door, trying to hump Donnie's Doberman. Being a multi-tasker, Marilyn had also carried a plate of leftover food that had just recently turned to cat food. Every time that I get my hopes up, over a politician, they turn out to be a liar, or are sincere but deluded, or they are outright crooked, or they are just plain incompetent. I have been disappointed or misled purposely, every single time, without fail. I am really getting tired of having my heart broken by two-faced politicians!
