Well, the seasons certainly ARE a-changing! Birds are gathering into huge flocks, ( shades of an Alfred Hitchcock movie, (! ) crows and geese in the hundreds & small blackbirds in flocks numbering in the TENS of THOUSANDS ) many dozens of snakes on my meal route, are becoming flattened, dry jerky strips, as they drowsily head across country roads, to enter their winter hibernation quarters, male deer have rubbed the velvet from their antlers, fawns are losing the last of their quickly fading...
