Still thinking about writing a novel someday...

Finished our day cleaning offices. We still have 2 left, but will do them tomorrow. Our 18 year old son and is driving with a friend here. His friend REALLY wanted to go to the Basketball tournament. They'll only be here 1 night, but I'm glad that we will see him. I'm reading a book put out by Writers Digest on writing a novel (first draft) in a month. It's really good and I'm learning a lot. Hope to share more about it soon. Have a nice weekend! Sign in to see full entry.

I actually made a gluten-free bread that tasted good. I am really missing the warm weather, and cannot wait until we have it. It could be a few more months... Sign in to see full entry.

Back from Africa

Our 18 year old son just returned from a trip from Africa. He went to Zimbabwe with the team from the discipleship school he's been in. We've been listening to many stories of the villages he went to, the food they eat... About how they bathed in the river with crocodiles, but under the falls it was safe because crocodiles like calm water. He learned about 10 words. I am always trying to learn new words, so I wrote them down as usual. It's been really nice to have him home. He will be leaving... Sign in to see full entry.
