Bookbinding class was great!

The bookbinding class was great. I can't remember the name of they type of binding we did, but it was somewhat rustic. We used real papyrus for the cover pages! The cover is a suede leather, and it has a strap that goes around to keep it shut tight. I am really burnt out tonight. No work, and I need to rest up for this next week. Various subjects

In the am I went to the fitness club and had one of those fitness assessments. I did alright,except on my flexibility, and I should lose between 5 and 13 pounds. I've already lost 10 (since last May). T his gluten free diet hasn't been all bad! It was really cold this morning, I noticed as we were leaving for the "RAC". Then, I noticed the sky was clear. Shopping day for me...

Today was a busy day. Basically, shopping and work. But all in all it was a pretty good day. Greg stayed home part of the day, and the rest of the day worked on our VW bus. The motor burned up last spring. He's putting in a motor from another old VW bus he bought. Hope we get it running. My shopping trip went well. It's at a really cool health food store. The prices are quite reasonable and they have bulk food and a lot of gluten-free food. I splurged on some essential oils so I can get started... Sign in to see full entry.

Natural Cleaning

Going to work in a little bit. Felt like I worked all day, but really it was only bookwork... The sun shone a bit today. Looked up how to make natural cleaning products online today. I'm trying to find out which solutions kill germs... so I can make my own to save money and for health reasons. Right now we use about 80% natural, but not totally. Train accident

On Sunday we ended up cleaning an office. We could see cars outside waiting for a train. After a few minutes, they were still waiting and we wondered if anything had happened. It turns out a man was sitting on the tracks and got ran over. I won't tell anymore, but it wasn't good. I am thankful that I didn't know this when we were working or see anything. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
