I gave myself a haircut and tried out the new homemade soap!

Just got done cleaning our house. My son and daughter-in-law and grandson are coming over after church. Sometimes I don't clean till Monday, because i am burnt out from cleaning all week and weekend. Greg had to wash windows at one of the businesses this morning. Hope he gets done and makes it to church. He has to work around the weather. Right now it's sunny with no wind. Nature sounds

I have a few minutes before we start work. Today we clean 6 different businesses. With 5 of us working it will go pretty fast. Last night I heard thunder so I opened my window. Natural Cleaning solutions...

I'm home, resting. Today I worked 5 1/2 hours cleaning 2 houses and 1 small office. Right now Greg and the 2 girls are cleaning the clinic. Tomorrow I clean 2 houses and may clean in the evening if I have the energy. We really need to get a couple of the businesses cleaned Friday night or we are swamped on Saturday. When your life is broken...God can repair it

What do you do when something gets broken and you can't fix it? Like your life? You've messed it up and now all those things you did in the past cannot be undone. What you said that hurt someone...and stupid things you did. You wish you could go back in time and do it over, but this time - right. Well we can't do it over, but we can start today and start over. Soap making resources

Here are some links I found for making soap. My recipe was basically 30% Lard, 25% coconut oil, 23% Grape seed oil and 22% olive oil. The best thing to do if you want to make soap is research it and then get the ingredients together. BE CAREFUL mixing the lye. The fumes are toxic. I ended up doing it outside. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
