Great Anniversary!

It's been awhile since I've had time to write here. First, I will say that we had a wonderful anniversary. We rented a motel on the Oregon beach for 2 nights. It was nice, with a pool and hot-tub. One day we rented horses. It was really fun to ride on the beach. The horses were nice, and not old plugs. I will try to post some photos as time allows. Cleaning Stories...

My day is about half over. This morning I cleaned one house out of town. When I got there, her car was there, but the door was locked. I knocked...no answer. Then I called her, still no answer. After that I called her daughters' house and a friend whose living with them didn't know if she went anywhere. I was about to call her daughter's cell phone at work, but decided to knock on her bedroom window first. I knocked and only heard her 2 poodles barking. I started getting worried. Finally, she... Lots to do

I decided I'd better get rid of all the recycle we had in our motor home taking up room. But, it wasn't the best day to do that... with the wind, cold rain. My fingers were numb by the time I had each bag in the right container. We've been using our motor home for storage. I need to find time to go through it, sort and get rid of stuff. Tomorrow I only clean 1 house, then go to an elderly ladies' home to help her with something she needed help with. Then, tomorrow night we need to clean 2... Sign in to see full entry.

Anniversary plans and the weather report...

Tomorrow is our 30th wedding anniversary. We are going to go out for dinner after we get off work. I think the kids are helping so we can get it done sooner. Then, a week later, Grandma will come and help watch the kids while we go to the ocean for a few days. I have been checking out beach houses and hotels with fireplaces. I think I'm down to 2 I like the best. We also might go for a horseback ride on the beach if the riding place is open. I might have to go by myself, but I am trying to talk... Restful Sunday

I had a pretty relaxing day. I got up early with dreams and ideas floating around in my head. Made coffee, and cleaned house for an hour or so, then we all went to church. Greg came later, as he had to wash windows at one of the businesses. Later my son, daughter-in-law and grandson came over for lunch. We had hamburger, onions, garlic, green pepper and millet. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
