Naps, work and summer...

I had a nice, easy day. Yesterday I was SO tired all day, that I even took 2 naps! I guess I got caught up on rest, because today I felt much better and even felt energetic cleaning tonight. I'm glad we had 4 people and it only took a little over an hour! Well, we got 2 raises in 2 days. One, was quite a bit. It's a pretty big job and so we needed more money as the job is taking longer and more work than we expected. The other job is a small job, but I under-bid it to begin with. Today the owner... Only 1 minute to write

Today I walked 2 miles. We will be doing a 5 K. run/walk in 2 weeks. It's to raise money to "stop human trafficking". Let me know if you are interested in sponsoring it. A restful day

I played hooky today! I had worked everyday this week, so I asked for today off and got it! Clemy had been sick, so she took the day off too. We went to a few yard sales. It was really sunny and pretty most of the day. Later it clouded up more, but the clouds were very pretty. It still isn't real warm, but it reminded me that summer is coming. Later, I took a nap. Needing prayer

I could use some prayer right now. My father-in-law just called. He is mentally ill and has a lot of hate, bitterness and anger inside. He poured it out and was very critical of our lives. I think he is angry at us because for many years we had no communication with him. We started communicating with him a few years ago (with caution). Anyway, I tried to listen to his side of the story. I had written a letter a week ago, and knew he would probably take it wrong, and see it as me making excuses... Sign in to see full entry.

Birthdays and bidding jobs...

I have been too busy to blog lately. Last Saturday, my husband and I did all the janitorial jobs by ourselves. Then, on Easter, we had 2 couples come over with their children to visit and eat with us. (One was my niece). Monday - I can't remember - Tuesday am, I "ran" with my son and daughter. I actually jogged, then walked when I got tired. We rested on the view-point hill. The next 2 months we will be having a lot of family birthdays. Last week it was "Bob's" who turned 21. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
