The Independant, has an article about a relative of Cromwell's that thought you could launch a ship and row to the Moon! Interesting thing is, that it took just a few years, 1660, to debunk his ideas. So they came up with some real science to prove him wrong, in such a short space of time. I see the Mrs society are meeting in Milton Keynes this week. the topic: living on Mars. Interesting to see by the Vox pops on the local news, that few people are in favoure of it. Peter Ustinov used to say that the reason America used to make such good films about Imperial rome, was because they were so much like them. The landlords are finally doing something to the house today. The last time it has any real work was 1969. Bit of a limbo state. We await the outcome of the Consumer Credit council. He is more than helpful, but it still all hangs in the air. feel bad, because people left nice remarks and I took no notice. the times I've done a blog, returned a week latter, only to find people were interested enough to read it, and I did nothing!!!
