Security Juggled?

How secure are we now that the Security Czar is changing? Will the new Security Czar be as good as Ridge, worse, better? How long will it take him to take control and right the errors of Ridge's time in office? We wait and see... Sign in to see full entry.

How secure can we be?

With only one mode of transportation being closely watched by security forces, air travel, how can we be secure on the rest? Buses, trains and highways are still virtually unprotected, and advertised as such by the media. Are they to be next? Or are they being watched less openly by security forces?... We certainly must be,

since the airport security people are now all but "feel;ing up" female passengers. And now they have apparently developed an "X-Ray" machine of sorts that basically visually undresses everyone. I hope the security agents are enjoying themselves. Will the TSA personnel be a haven for voyeurs now? Sign in to see full entry.

Kerry with a shotgun . . .

For some reason, that does not make me feel secure at all. Seeing him with a shotgun makes me want to go out and buy a vest. Sign in to see full entry.

The most insecurity I have felt in a long time

was when I heard Kerry state that our actions had to pass some sort of undefined "Global Test." Where is that man's mind, and when was the last time he picked up a history book? In the unlikely, highly unlikely, case Kerry gets elected, then we will be feeling nakedly insecure. Sign in to see full entry.

We won't be secure . . .

until the feds start targeting those who are most likely to be terrorists. Random checks are a waste of time, money and resources. Start profiling. There is nothing wrong with profiling when you have a definite idea of who the terrorists are likely to be. Political correctness and liberal wussiness... Sign in to see full entry.

How secure are we now?

This is an Oxymoronic Time with respect to feeling secure. Ont he one hand, we see all the efforts of police, emergency agencies, and even private citizens, to keep our nation safe. On the other hand, we hear that an attack prior to the election in November is almost assured. Security, I think, is... Sign in to see full entry.

Boston Seems Secure . . . .

But was it really ever a target? We are going about this all wrong and will have to find a more effective, more efficient and a less expensive way to protect ourselves, and without killing or maiming the Bill of Rights. Sign in to see full entry.

Too much, too vague . . .

What good are the warnings being put out by our government agency set up to protect us, the Department of Homeland Defense? (What a Laugh!) Their warnings are akin to a weather man telling us that sometime between now and November 2nd it will rain really hard. Such warnings are, in my opinion,... Sign in to see full entry.

If you really want to experience insecurity . . . .

Elect the Kerry/Edwards ticket in November and put us into the pot of hot water for sure. That most incompetent team is ready to hand our national security responsbilities over to other countries, many of whom really do not care about our safety and who would love to be able to change the way we...
