It's all "Feel good" stuff that is generally ineffective. If the populace would wise up and complain to their Congressmen we might see a change. In general, the voting public is like a herd of sheep, and about as smart.

I don't really believe we are that much safer then we were on 9/11
Homeland Security is more "show" then "go". Our borders and ports are still very vulnerable, the security color of the day is a joke and the only ones being put through the wringer is the average Joe Blow good citizen who gets jerked off and their civil rights violated, just look at the Patriot Act.
