Hamas' 'Mickey' and Israeli Child-killers...III

What began as a ‘Tidbits’ reject and ended up here in ‘View’ because it is too serious, is threatening to turn into a series. (New readers will have to go back a couple of posts to make sense of the title.) I don’t have much time for this, but will probably do it anyway. Reflecting on what I appear... Notes on the ‘murder’ of Hamas’ ‘Mickey’ by an ‘Israeli child-killer’...II

The minimal reaction to my previous post suggests two possible conclusions: either Blogit bloggers are really not interested in serious matters, or they don’t care to read about serious matters concerning Israel. I would certainly hope it’s the former, but I cannot completely discount the latter.... Sign in to see full entry.

Hamas TV kills off Mickey Mouse double...I

A Mickey Mouse lookalike who preached Islamic domination on a Hamas-affiliated children's television program was the victim of a pretend beating death in the show's final episode Friday. In the final skit, the "Farfur" character was killed by an actor posing as an Israeli official trying to buy... Sign in to see full entry.

Blogger Flips Over Olympics...

When I first posted this earlier today, it had the title ‘Olympic Reflections’. But the indifference to my ‘reflections’ appears to be so monumental that I am taking a page out of several other people’s playbook here in Blogit and introduce the term ‘Blogger’ in the title, in the hope of attracting... Rescuing Your Enemy...

A few days ago, we were witnesses to an event in the Middle East which, in my view, did not get the attention it deserved. In a nutshell, Israel opened her doors to let in 150 or so members of Fatah about to be slaughtered by their Hamas ‘brethren’ in Gaza. My initial, momentary and unthinking... Towards a New Conception of God...

In his recent book, Reinventing the Sacred: A New View of Science, Reason and Religion, Stuart A. Kauffman writes: “Is it, then, more amazing to think that an Abrahamic, transcendent, omnipotent, omniscient God created everything around us...in six days, or that it all arose with no transcendent... WTF is going on here, Bloggers?

My apologies for the gimmicky title, (TAPS has an interesting post on gimmickry), but I do want you to read this... There are moments in history that shine a light on things, so glaringly illuminating essential truths, that no one who has eyes to see can ignore them. One such historical moment is... "Cut Off Their Heads"...

The debate over the (improving) situation in Iraq, the re-emerging conflict with the Taliban in Afghanistan and the dithering over Iran’s drive towards the bomb have contributed to the puplic’s difficulty in grasping the most important sub-text to many aspects of these events – the relentless march... The Iran Dilemma Revisited...

I’ve been quite busy, having little time for writing or even reading, preventing me from visiting most of my favourite Bloggers. I also have not been paying much attention to the news, and clearly missed one of the most important statements made by a politicion recently. And no, it has nothing to do... A Brief Note on North American Health Care

Yesterday I posted a somewhat facetious item on Canadian health care in ‘Tidbits’, ( http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/Nautikos367/548309 ) which brought some interesting and much appreciated responses. This is a huge topic, which doesn’t really belong into the category of ‘crazy’ stuff, because... Sign in to see full entry.
