nan - i had some really tough days during the christmas season. although
i took a break away from blogit, i plugged in occasionally just to read your posts. so full of happiness and promise, your words helped me, reminding me my days would swing back to positive if i hung on.
you enjoy these good days girl and tell us all about them, it does a heart good.

I haven't been happy for a long time.
But I can recall that when I WAS happy, I knew it was gift and I tried to remember to always be thankful for it.
That's a gift too...the ability to know that what you have is precious.

Happiness is only boring to those who've never known it, who've never truly experienced it. It's something like baseball. Watching a game on televison is one of the most boring, sleep inducing things imaginable for me, but last summer I went to a minor league game. I stayed all nine innings and loved every minute of it. I discovered baseball, even the minor league, is best when you're there, in the thick of it, a part of it, not watching from a distance. Happiness is the same.
