The New York City School Board has officially declared Jewish English a second language. Backers of the move say the district is the first in the nation to recognize Hebonics as the language of many American Jews. For whatever reason, Senator Orrin Hatch, the Mormon Senator from Utah, decided to write and perform in a catchy, bouncy Hanukkah song. This actually isn't too surprising since 12 of the top 25 Christmas songs were written by Jews, including Chestnuts Roasting...., Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and White Christmas Irving Berlin's "White Christmas" is the historical "biggie" of popular Christmas songs.
