Not Your Grandpa's Jerusalem; Israel Current Joys and Challenges

I started a new blog documenting with words and pictures the new Israel reality. Having just returned from a Heart To Heart Women's United Jewish Federation mission, I had to share the best and most heartbreaking stories, and will do so daily (or as often as I can). This past visit to Israel was my lucky 13th. I went to school there, spent a summer on a kibbutz, flew over for a few days to attend a friend's wedding, and went back with friends and family a lot. Next Stop Tel Aviv

I can't let too many years go by without a visit to my favorite "other home" - Israel. This time - heading there with a group of community - service minded women philanthropists, though my first stop will be to the Dead Sea for a post-flight mud-wrap and a dip in the very salty water.
