I won and lost

Continuing on from yesterday's post, I didn't manage to arrange for Christian to win at Canasta because the cards kept falling my way... Sweet sixteen

Christian is sixteen years old today and, after the tension caused by the weekend's wedding it's great that we are back in our own home again and trying to make it a special day for him. Why do I feel second best?

We all went up to Derbyshire this weekend for my nephew's wedding. My sister has four sons and this was the second to get married. Searching on Google

We had a lovely family day yesterday. Susan and I pottered about all morning with coffee and music and finally bacon and eggs. In the afternoon I took Christian to his football match. Sunny Saturday

Actually it's been sunny but also showery in Eastern England today. The weather is more akin to April than October but, though we're heading into winter rather than out of it, I do feel warm inside. Nourishing yin

I really love music and have actually started to listen to it much more since working for myself. Just got back from Ipswich where Claire had a good dance class and I put on the fat that she lost through numerous lattes and sandwiches. Weekly deadlines

Mad weekend

The weekend started when I took Claire into Cambridge for her dance class on Friday evening. It was pouring with rain and the city was just gridlocked.
