Yes technology can be a bugger - I feel it's only as keen and great as the one that may be pushing the buttons.  and I do hope Christian feels better.  Good to read you Malcolm.  Elyse

It all sounds complicated Malcom... I'm glad you sorted it out :-)  I can tinker around with my computer but would not be able to do your job :-)  I am in awe of you!  Be well my friend  xoxoxo

There's nothing like the frustration caused by computers. Glad you got it sorted in the end.

Trying to get into google adsense (with the blogspot account) drove me mad, so I've just forfeited it!

That must have been very frustrating for you.
But, I really do love google maps and depend on them when I need directions.

Google
has the worst customer service on earth!  I use google checkout for my business, they made and error recently and it took forever to get a real person via email...no phone number ever was made available.

It does boggle the mind when these things happen! I don't understand why they do not provide assistance! sam

Another beautiful Sunday, I think Google suffers from letting the developers work unsupervised in some areas and so ends up with a product only usable by the guys who wrote it...

Malcolm
I can't believe I heard that Google word again today. My problems this past week have all been because of Google. I'd click on my ISP to get technical assistance and up came the darn Google e-mail page every time. I'm not too savvy with computers but I finally deleted the Google toolbar, Gmail, Google news homepage and I do believe I may have solved my e-mail problems. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well, Malcom - everything you wrote about resolving computer problems is chinese to me. I can push the keys, but if they don't work as usual? ARRRG!

That seems to be the way the big companies operate. One never knows whether they will get it right or wrong.

Well you always seem to make the most of your days Malcom . I must say Google maps show up well in some areas, but I expect you mean something different. I usually get the wrong end of the stick.

Malcolm....
sometimes I think websites and web engines make up their own rules as they go along unchallenged, or if challenged, they just laugh it off.....

I am sorry you are having difficulty but it comforts me at the same time...

if an expert like you has trouble then no wonder Wiley and I go crazy trying to work things out......actually I usually just give up but Wiley is a British bulldog and he don't let go until he has the answers and has fixed the problem.

Also I find that which a couple of years ago was free is now costing money and a person can spend thousands of dollars a year trying to get information and help.
