... to sit here all morning reading and commenting on everyone's blog as well as posting my own. However, the vacuum cleaner is sitting in the middle of the floor and there's a 20 foot ladder with my name on it waiting outside. It's 9:35 in the morning. Husband has been on the mower for about an... Sign in to see full entry.

THE CONTINUING SAGA OF LIFE ON THE FARM
Husband went to work this morning amid the sound of slamming door and my voice raised to a pitch that I hardly ever use. He came home this afternoon and the silence between us was deafening. Our rules of engagement are that the first one who speaks after a confrontation is the one who the offender.... Sign in to see full entry.

EVERYONE IS A TEACHER OR A STUDENT
Today I'm just the best example of WHAT NOT TO DO to live a happy, fulfilling life. As in every marriage, Husband and I do not live in perfect harmony at all times. We, our marriage, tends to get lost somewhere in the shuffle of life - jobs, kids, grandkids, social obligations, worries... This... Sign in to see full entry.

Last night she let me know that she's 25 years old, an adult, wants... Sign in to see full entry.

ANOTHER EVENING OF QUALITY TIME
Husband and I have just spent an evening of bonding pulling tape from the trim around the windows. He painstakingly taped all the windows and edges around the exterior walls that he's staining. He did a wonderful job, knowing that preparation is everything. What he didn't consider was what the tape... Sign in to see full entry.

THE THINGS WE MAKE TIME FOR
It's been a few days since I've been able to post thanks to work, soccer and grandchildren. One daughter and grandson just left just over an hour ago. In my joy at being totally alone with my husband, I gave him a wicked look and invited him into the house for a little while. He politely declined.... Sign in to see full entry.
