It's busy here on the farm with Daughter-In-Law to Be (DIL) in residence and preparations for the upcoming wedding. Beneath all the activity is the hum of her building anxiety. GRANDCHILDREN WILL BE MY REVENGE!

Daughter (the pretty one) is moving to California. One minute she was moving two hours away and the next she was moving across the country. That's fine. She has siblings there. At the end of the day yesterday, all the junk that remained unsold from the yard sale needed to be boxed up. I asked Daughter to come out and help. She readily agreed. The yard sale is over. It was pretty good for a farm isolated out on a country road! We made over $200 and only have one truckful of stuff to give to the thrift store! TODAY IS THE DAY!

The ad was run for the yard sale; the signs are out by the road; all the goods have been tagged; change was gotten from the bank - we're ready. I think we're having a high end yard sale. THE DAY BEFORE THE YARD SALE

It's Friday, the day before our yard sale. We've cleaned out our closets and barn and basement. Piles of junk are stacked by the barn.
