Wild Mind

The book " Wild Mind " by Natalie Goldberg arrived yesterday. I tore into it with a hunger. My day was spent reading a chapter then writing for hours; reading another chapter then doing the laundry; writing for hours then making the bed; reading a chapter then vacuuming the floor... I CAN'T WRITE

I can't write but I'm doing it anyway. I keep waiting for Divine inspiration to hit me. My ideal is that it will feel like a glowing white light hitting the top of my head and spreading the warmth of creative ideas throughout my being. WRITING ALONE

For some reason I'm finding it difficult to write with another human body in the room. Someone else's presence seems to send out vibrations that I can't quite shut out. Obessively Writing Garbage

As you can see, it pours out of me in disconnected paragraphs like Christmas ornaments lying on the floor waiting to decorate the tree. Even my style feels disjointed and foreign to me right now.
