Nir's Accident yesterday

Yesterday at shule in the middle of davening Musuf (Kedusha) no less a boy raced into the women's section shouting 'Nir's hit his head and it's bleeding!' I stopped my davening immediately and ran outside to the the sight of Nir being held across the lap of another mother (who I might add is about five months pregnant). she is trying to staunch the flow of blood from his forehead and he is in a bit of shock because he is not screaming but crying a little and saying 'Blood, blood it's bleeding' or... I have been so busy with things

for my son and for my new business. I have to buy a computer before the end of the financial year and I am going to use it for my editing and publishing business. I have to make up a flyer and to put an ad in the Newspapers for editing and publishing work. I will offer to do CV's as well as to write proposals for people who need them. Nir has had a great speech therapy session and I am hoping that we will continue with her. He has also had a good session with his OT who is filling in for our... Sign in to see full entry.

Well the little boy is on the mend and hopefully all will be well with him

I have written just over two thousand and two hundred words today. I need to up my game plan a bit and write a bit more. I am aiming for 5,000 to 6,000 a day and have an editing session every couple of days. Nir had a good day at school and I am glad that they are getting on well together. He has some fun with sport and stuff today and will be starting speech therapy at the school at 11.30 am every Tuesday for which I am so grateful. It is a good school and I think that finally I have made the... Sign in to see full entry.

Prayers for the baby boy of Rochel are still appreciated and needed

The little boy who has been in the ICU is now in special care but it would be good to have prayers for his welfare and that of his parents and family should still be said. It is a very hard thing especially if you knew the history of this family and what they have been through, you would feel even more empathy for this family's pain. The mother of the baby had a younger brother who passed away after much suffering and it just seems so cruel. She is the youngest now and my friend is really being... Sign in to see full entry.

Geneology and your roots

am looking into my family background and it is quite fascinating. I have all these ancestors in America who were reputedly Christians but have names like Issac, Avaraham, Aaron, Devorah, Israel and it is so interesting as one of the names I wanted for Nir was Aaron. Genetic memory perhaps. I am searching the websites for more knowledge on my family. I am also looking into my mother's ancestral roots as much as I can and may enlist the help of a cousin in Vienna. Busy times

A friend's daughter has just given birth and the baby is in intensive care and I am thinking of them and davening (praying for them). It is her youngest daughter's first baby and he was born yesterday. There are complications. But with G-d's help and wisdom they will see through and all will be well. The next door people are very quiet since the police raids. However someone has been into my back yard and turned the back side light on. The switch is outside the door. Why?? Who knows. It is... Well Excitement Abounds

The police called in to my house yesterday and they then paid a visit to the people next door which is long overdue. I am doing some observation work for them on the cars that come and go next door. They are a strange lot of people. today when I arrived back from my creative writing group there were three detectives in their natty dark suits taking notes outside and a van with a locksmith. That is a bit of a change from the other time when I went around there late last year to collect my son's... Sign in to see full entry.

Problems with my Internet connection and just computer tweaks in general

I seem to be very short tempered with my computer lately. I really don't know what is up. I am trying to get all my Chronicles of Or organised and will not blog extensively tonight in order to get some sense and order into chapters and get Or moving on his journey and I am going to have some of my children's stories assessed as well as the partially finished manuscript of the Chronicles. I am tired and cranky and worried about a friend of mine who is a neighbour. She has had some vigorous nose... Sign in to see full entry.

A Lovely Shabbes with a more amazing Melava Malka

from our shule with Rabbi and Rebbitzin Trugman leading the musical entertainment and stories. I went to shule Friday night because my son kept at me to go and so finally I changed out of my housecoat (I just love housecoats and they are so comfortable on a Friday night when you are at home and there is a warm toasty house and the smell of challa and good cooking and shabbes pervades the air) and put on suitable shabbes attire to accompany my son to shule. I was glad I did because he was so... Sign in to see full entry.
