Yes TAPS I know
I will be going back for a massage for 1 1/2 hours because my right shoulder has locked up. I am also drinking now a minimum of two liters of water a day as that is meant to flush the toxins out of the body and help joint pains.

I have entered two pieces into the glen Eira literary awards and will get one of them short listed I hope but the other one Thief I have already started the rewrites and do not think it will get anywhere as I called one character the wrong name - eg the aunt's name I gave to the sister and I have already put it in. I am going to rework the story and reenter it into something different. It will be more experiemental and I want to show that the main character thinks and how she deals with her life in an aged people's home and how they deal with her. I am not at all happy with it and now wondered why I put it in. Ego I suppose. I do just enjoy writing too. Well must sleep and I will post in the morning when I have had a good think and a rewrite. Enjoy the day all.

If you get up-tight striving for perfection, you will need more massages.
Newborn baby health problems are always so frightening.  I pray this one will be all right.

But short stories are such fun to write too. As sinome says, just let it flow, then give the story a rest for  few days and then polish.

TU Sinoeme
But I like to strive for perfection and am never happy with any of my pieces. Sometimes I write a poem that makes me glad but short stories are a strain, aren't they?

I am sorry to hear about your friend's daughter's baby ... I hope she pulls through.  Now a days they perform miracles in those ICUs... About your writing just let it flow... some little imperfections make it more yours and it will ad to the flavour of whatever you are writing... Be well.  xoxo
