Friends of questionable repute rewritten and edited first time.

Virginia came to my second boarding school PGC with a reputation. She left with it extended further. She was a short olive skinned girl with a well developed buttocks and a swaying way of walking that fascinated the Scots boys. The way she filled out a tartan summer tunic made it appear much more than a school uniform. It vexed the mistresses no end and bothered the male masters. She was told repeatedly to close the buttons up to the collar of her uniform, but they kept slipping out, as much as... Sign in to see full entry.

My Birthday today - the Hebrew one.

I had a birthday lunch given by a friend. It was also the birthday of the Rebbitzen. It was great and we had a talk given by a Rav who is a Cohen and he blessed us so it was a great day all in all. I did some interesting writing today and am going to type it out and rewrite the Friends of A Questionable Nature in a more structured format and heavily edited. I can see all too easily where the faults lie but I am too tired so I am off to read and will read some blogs tomorrow. \ Have a good night... Sign in to see full entry.

Friends of a questionable nature.

Friends are interesting phenomena. We are born into family but often, unless we come from a very close family, we rely on friends for emotional and psychological support. Sometimes it is financial, but also not a good idea even with family, to rely for finances on your family. It is best to be a worker or somehow earning your own money. I have worked most of my life except for the last three years when as a result of bullying at Deniliquin High School I have been unable to work in my profession... Sign in to see full entry.

Poetry

Poetry and poets Are about perfecting their worlds Putting them into microchips Of words, sounds and pictures. Poets are artisans Of Speech and Spirit P athetic people O f little or no imagination R ude and vulgar N on descript inhabitants O f the mental sewers and G arbage collectors R uin A ll life’s romance P ulling down H umans to the level of Y ucky yockisha thought. Emenem and others like him Are not poets or even artisans They are simply mirrors Of the corruption in a sick society!... Sign in to see full entry.

I want to add that if a person is depressed it may help to see someone

who is a nutritionist and has some degrees in psychology and counseling. We are sick because of what we lack and what we are putting into our systems and our systems are not taking it well. This is just a short addendum to my previous post. Sign in to see full entry.

Anti- Depressants - Taking pills to be sick?

Anti Depressants are modern day medicines that we need not and should not take. I will probably anger a few people here and there, but anti-depressants are for lazy people who want to take happiness pills without finding out what is the root cause of their depression or sadness. It is a part of the quick fix of consumer society and the need for happiness the easy way. That anti depressants don’t cure but often make chronic depression worst for sufferers is a fairly widely known fact. People will... Sign in to see full entry.

From the Chookbook of backyard verse

Chicken Shenanigans A speckled hen Caught red handed With a mouse in the house, Was put out in a pen With an old black hen She didn’t like. She demanded That a white leghorn Be included, And so it was. But the white hen Fluffed her feathers frostily And said, ‘NO, not without one rooster, At least, To keep the peace, Will I SHARE your pen!’ Thus a Red Rooster came To chat With the speckled hen, And sat With the white hen To bat With the black hen At the Chicken Cricket crease And to share the... A poem I wrote this afternoon, but it needs work...still

The Fig Tree Change happen fast in May’s month When the old girl whose gnarled limbs Are places of play For possums and birds Scurrying over the guttering rim, Sheds her glorious garments of green Leaves for a temporary yellow Raiment that eventually stripteases down To the backyard floor. She whispers to me, Sitting in her shade, She scolds the chooks Scratching around her trunk toes She flutters yellow lids One by one At a small boy Who bats Fluttering leaves floating Towards the ground Until...
