Today was my first day on the job working for Alumnae Communications. I'll be working there two days a week, for three hours each time, and today I kind of got my introduction to the office. It seems as though there is a lot of opportunity for me to do good things for the Alumnae Bulletin. I am especially eager to hone my writing skills (though its not as though I don;t do that here), and to do some editing and web page writing. Those will be my primary responsibilities this semester. SEX*SEX*SEX*SEX*
Don't tell me that didn't get your attention. Well, I won't be writing about sex, per say, but I am writing on those kinds of people who use scintillating or provocative titles to get more clicks for their blogs- and people who change the font of thier text to perhaps keep their readers interested. On Friday night Rebecca and I drove over there to the concert, stopping at Wal-Mart on the way for drinks. We went over the the faternity house of a friend of hers, just to hang out before the concert. Well, I decided at that point to go over and see how Chris was doing. He wasn't in his room, but when I called he... Sign in to see full entry.

Senior seminars
Well, its September first, and for me, the school year has officially begun. Also, today I had both of my senior seminars, one in history and the other in English. What a wake-up call those were. It reminds me of how much work I have to do, exactly, and how nobody will ever see me in the spring because I'll be too busy in class or writing my papers. Both seminars are two hours long apiece. They're a part of a "capstone experience" that ends with us all writing senior papers in the spring- though... Sign in to see full entry.
