MENTAL ILLNESS, BOUNDARIES AND FREEDOM

Of course we are all aware that in the 70’s, laws were put into place allowing freedom of the mentally ill. I am not sure what that entails; however, I know many people who are dying on the streets are there because some ‘do-gooder’ decided they needed to be free. Free to take or not take their medicine, live where they wanted in short be themselves. Now it is even illegal to force a mentally ill person to take their medicine. WE ARE SEEING THE WRONG PERSON

It will be years before the pain of this weeks murdering spree is dulled. Families will be aware daily of the loss of that other one in the family. We turn on the news channels and see this evil person espousing all his venom. FOX NEWS said today they had stopped showing that. I am glad. We should be seeing others like the professor who told his students to jump out the window. He then attempted to force the door closed and was killed. This man was, I believe he was 76 years old. CAN WE MAKE IT GO AWAY?

People have been up in arms at me for mixing tragedy and politics. More often than not they are entwined. What is running our country right now but political fighting? I don't think the far left is part of the normal Democratic party. I think it is Socialist. I think both parties have left us in a no man's land of injustice. Politics are tragic. IS IT POSSIBLE, YA THINK?

Is it possible at long last that an ugly travesty has lead to truth, even a little tad of honesty? I don't think for one moment that was the intent of Don Imas but he has scored one for the humane by being in-humane. He has been the foul mouth for years. He has hurt many people with the vitriol he has espoused under the protection of free speech. You see it turned out to be free only to a select group. YOU TELL ME

I am not sure I understand the totality of political correctness. Is it politically correct for someone to come on your comments page and call you a liar repeatedly? Is is acceptable for this to continue even after you have shown the facts? I know everybody has good advice for those of us who are the targets of cowards. There are many people who post things on this community who go against the grain of the two who are really harassing me in a very unnerving way. They obviously don't have the...
