i have not read where you were called a liar
my son said basically that you were spreading misinformation. there is a difference
if this were the real world and someone wanted to take this to court for libel your case would be full of holes.
odd that many cons want to say democrats did nothing for the working poor.
go downtown and look at civic buildings. In St. Louis, it's our Civil Courts Building. This was built by formerly out of work men, through FDR's programs.
Our greatest increases in minimum wage came under Democrat-controlled legislatures. The freezes came under Republican Administrations: Reagan, and now our dear loving GW Bush who has nothing but everyone's best interests in mind, of course. 
your main problem, with my son, Kooka, as it has been with me, is that you take a comment that is basically innocuous, but in opposition to your statement, and make it into something that it is not, basically an insult or at attack.
I read Kooka's first comment a couple of posts back in regard to minimum wage -- he steered you to a link that would provide information contrary to your statement and your response was that you didn't want to hear what he had to say. You didn't counter his statement with information, as he countered yours.
Truth (or validity) is arrived at by evidence, not name calling, or perceived sleights.

Oh I am not going of my own free will. They may report me for what ever they drum up and I may be forced to leave. It has happened on here several times. People have been made to go. I don't know all the situations but no amount of personal support helped them. I do sincerely appreciate your encouraging words. Thank you.

Thank you so very much for your unbiased and informative response. Yes I know we do differ on much of what we write; however, both of us are for the best for the greatest number. I too am ready to chuck the total bunch. As for the rest of this junk that is what it is. Bless you dear woman.

Justi, blessings to you and Im sorry you are in the middle of a blog war.
I enjoy your writings and your positive spirit. Not being in your country your politics dont affect me. I have a hard time feeling passionate about political issues because corrupt wannabee rulers usually become corrupt rulers. The names and faces just change ,nothing much else. I hope this acrimony ends soon.

You challenge some statistic that she puts forward, and you'll likely be accused of being a rude, abusive, spear-rattling, communistic, imbecile...

Dear Justi,
"They drafted it up" confused me, because I had read about the bill's actual passage through the House, then the problems with it in the Senate..from accounts I've read and heard, it does appear as though Republicans are slowing down the bill's progress until the tax cuts they want are added. And President Bush has said he will veto unless it contains those cuts. As far as I can tell, these are the facts, but there is always room for further information and clarification. Don't think I'm totally anti Republican, pro Pelosi, however. Speaker Pelosi seems to have put her own supporter stamp on the legislation. I believe the serious problem of way too much corporate lobbying, contributions and undue influence is a disease badly infecting both parties..we need to throw all the bums out on their bums and start over! Run for office with me?? LOL, just trying to lighten things up a bit. You are a good writer with strong views - views I may not agree with, but your right to express them is something I'll always support, 100 per cent.
When I was posting political stuff on a daily basis, I learned much through trial and error. A couple of things I gleaned: Provide a solid, credible basis for whatever assertions, factual data you are offering..because it will be checked and rechecked, by a reader or readers eventually, especially those who have an opposing view. I tripped up in that area, more than once. 
That's not to say opinion, viewpoint doesn't or shouldn't play a role, but if you are blogging as a news/reporting writer, personal feelings should be minor to the post. Again, there I also stumbled. Keep your mind open to those opposing views, at least somewhat, because chances are good you will gain more knowledge; a deeper understanding of what is going on in the world. I'm not saying you don't practice these standards, ideals, etc. or that you are unaware of them; I'm only sharing my experiences and opinions.

That is interesting then, because her post was obviously 100% referring to me. So how would your comment not be referring to me?
Go and read the comment in her last two pots to find out what is really going on. Now I know you will not care about my side of things, since Justi shares your views and I do not, so in your mind she is in the right and I am the one who is attacking her here. But maybe if you try to have an open mind and see for yourself if I am really in the wrong here.

Yeah, your right. I am obviously the one who is doing all the attacking here. Now what do you just say about me in that comment there? Something about 'intellectual ineptness' I believe? So who is calling who names now?
And just for the record, I've not attacked Justi, nor called here any name at all. I've just tried to point out some misinformation she listed, then took down after I talked about it.
