I do hope all those who jumped through loops about the confusion get it clarified from Obama. Thank you for this bit. I do agree with him on outsourcing.

The inner man has to change before there is hope for the world.
Sometimes it seems hopeless.

Thank you so much. I know that. We must be able to change and still maintain what we individually come to believe as real, rational and good for us. When people stop beating down anyone who disagrees with them, the world can meld. What is right for me may not be for you, yet you have full right to be yourself as do I and both without condemnation.

I certainly can see what you are trying to say

I too have felt the same; most others too. We see something extremely wrong with our species, our country and with a lot of things in this world.

The thing is, there are no easy answers. It's not the fault of any certain people, be it race, religion or whatever. It's not the democrats fault and it isn't the republicans fault. Nor is it an immigration issue or a terrorist issue. And it's not a case of my religion is better than yours or vice versa.

I one time thought to myself (several years ago): OK, what if I got rid of all those who were "unlike" myself. Let's get rid of the the other political parties, let's get rid of the blacks, mexicans, jews, whoever. Let's put a huge wall around our country and keep any unwanted visitors from coming in. Let's do this and that. Then we'll all be perfect, right? Wrong!

It's us as ONE, all together, regardless of race, creed, gender, or any other difference. The only enemy is the one we create in our mind.

The perfect utopia we seek will not come from changes outside of us, but changes inside of us. Not by changing people, but by changing ourselves.

I am just starting to learn that.
