500,000 Miles

Dad's 1999 Ford F-250 has reached the 500,000 mile plateau. Wednesday was the day the odometer rolled over. By far Dad's truck has the most out of any vehicle I know. Half a million miles. A theme during this winter in the United States is just how mild of a winter it has been. Baltimore averages about twenty inches of snow every year. Last week's light snows are paying huge dividends. The three businesses have been swamped with salty cars since Sunday afternoon. We have not looked back. Ghost Town

I awoke on Saturday to see snow on the grass and a wet road. I knew that business would not be busy on this day. Even though no snow had stuck to the roads they had still been salted. I do not give Mom the credit that she deserves in this blog. Mom does most of the bookwork for the three car washes that we operate (one of which has a convenience store), the three rental houses and our commercial rental property.
