Fat and Broke

One time, a few years ago, business at the car washes was slow, so I hung out with Ann for a bit at Location D's convenience store. A Happy Ending Was on Its Way

Dad and Josh Gabber's friendship did not immediately become strong again after their ferocious April 11, 2009 argument. In fact, the way I saw it, the friendship was over. Sleeping Beauty

One time, Howard Booth entered Location B's office while Dad was sleeping in La-Z-Boy. He needed to talk to Dad about something business related. "Sleeping Beauty," I said to Dad. Fired...For Two Hours

Josh Gabber can write on his resume that he was "fired" for two hours on April 11, 2009. After weeks of voicing his displeasure to Dad about being told to hold off on his loan, Dad told Josh on that April day that he would be sure to have the one payment he was owed. Underneath Cold

"Is the water in the automatic touch frees hot?" a female customer asked me on a busy day back in late January 2014. "I am not sure," I said. "I do know that the undercarriage is cold.
