I've got to run over to Sault Ste. Marie this morning, but I found some interesting stories about Michigan's Upper Peninsula about 100 years ago. This article details a three to five year span where a series of earthquakes rattled the UP, causing rail tracks to bend and ships to be thrown around out... Sign in to see full entry.

Just Me Quacking Here
What a night. I spent nearly four hours editing, formatting and submitting both the updated ebook of 'The Touch - A Gift' AND the paperback version. The story is only 22,450 words long, but I remember why I wrote it as it drew to its climax. While 'fictionalized,' there is a lot of truth in this... Sign in to see full entry.
We went out for our morning walk early this morning... see my photo of the day! While I love the colors, it is sad that the summer has slipped away. We have color developing in the trees, and the fall animals that you see on rare occasions in the summer, are beginning to show up with more frequency.... Sign in to see full entry.

I was going to make a post about time travel, but none of you people liked it so I won't. Sign in to see full entry.

After all, when it was -20, we still went out for our daily walks, so a little rain won't bother us. If it lets up long enough... Sign in to see full entry.

We had a very windy night with heavy rain last night. A large branch fell across the Internet fiberoptic line and snapped it. They have crews out and about, but have no idea when they will be HERE. I have phone access upstairs, but not in my office downstairs. I can check my various websites, but... Sign in to see full entry.

Just this little quote I found on Twitter: Talk about your sob stories... Yesterday a book fell on my head. I've only got my shelf to blame. Sign in to see full entry.
I went out to one simple thing, but in the manner that I was taught by my Father, it became a 'Random Act of Kindness' thing. A short trip to do something and then begin to work on editing my stories tuned out to be a four hour affair. It's alright. I feel better now. Due to the rules that Dad laid...
