My Kindle Book Description

This is the description that I am using for my story. A hardened criminal receives a sudden and very unexpected parole and moves from the vicious life he lived for more than twenty years to live in a very rural setting. At first, Ray fills his time cleaning up the ramshackle home of his uncle, but... Sign in to see full entry.

My Cover.

While this will work, this is what happens when you are talking to your graphics dude who is about five minutes away from leaving town for ten days and you want him to do a cover. He screwed the title up, but for now, I can use this graphic using that title until he can get back and fix it. Once I... Sign in to see full entry.

I didn't sleep for diddly do-dah last night. A heavy series of thunderstorms rolled through our area, and normally storms make me sleep, but not last night. I have to run over to the Soo or as its proper name is, Sault Ste. Marie to get a prescription that I had forgotten to order. Wisdom can be... Sign in to see full entry.

I just posted the last of the murder story that will end up being sold on Amazon as "The Staines Road Murders." In order to keep my word that this would be the last post, I had to post just shy of 3400 words, all new today. As I prep the final 'epilogue' for the story, I'll end up adding about... It rained like crazy here nearly all day yesterday and then again all night. A lot of my normal dog run areas will be too wet to visit, so that leaves me with only one place to take my three delinquent animals - Kaks Lake. There is a small rest area/boat launch there, along with a small wooded area... Sign in to see full entry.

It has rained almost the entire day. The times that it wasn't raining, it was too wet to go for a walk. Yeah, I could have put on a waterproof jacket, but it was close to 78 yesterday and we had a high of 58 today. I don't feel like catching pneumonia just to take a walk. I just posted another short... It's raining, but as Eric Clapton sang, " Let It Rain." I have all of the doors open, letting the smell of a summer rain sweep through the house. I bought one of these screen door deals to go over my front door, and for reasons that escape me, the dogs haven't yet figured out that they can just go... Sign in to see full entry.

Today Was Special

It was a genuinely nice day today, and I am thankful for it. I took my dogs to a special place where my wife and I used to walk a lot. It was along 'the' river, "The Tahquamenon" of course. I don't know if it's possible that our dogs can still smell her there, but they seemed to know the reverence... Sign in to see full entry.

If it was race night last night, that means take I was up until 2AM and back up at 8 to format photos and write the press release for the various websites and newspapers. They had over 150 cars at the event last night, so it was a slow and tortuous morning! In the mean time, the dogs keep reminding... Sign in to see full entry.

It's race night and as of right now, I think they are going to be good to go. The glitches in the system have been extremely minimal this year, so once the live stream is up and running, I can put the video in the back ground and so some writing while it runs. It's a beautiful day in the... Sign in to see full entry.
