Big V Mumbles About Something - Blogithttps://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/I've been a 'people watcher' since I was very young. I'll use this area to make comments on Life as I see it.hourly12000-01-01T12:00+00:00New Coverhttps://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/999167Good morning. I'm already working on a new story while I edit the last one. This is the proposed banner ad, and an expanded version will serve as the cover. Thoughts? A friend of mine (and Amanda's) has a lot of good articles, but you might want to read this one on getting reviews.https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/999143Good morning. North Florida is slowly warming up after falling to 45 last night. At 9:45, it's up to 62, on its way to 82. I always take a quick stroll around the 'net first thing in the morning, and it seems the world is almost quiet. It won't last, but sometimes you just need a few minutes of...https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/999117Good morning. The day has gotten off to a very 'cool' start. It was 51 when I first took the dogs out. An hour later, it has made it to 62. I can't stay long because I have to run to Valdosta to get blood work and such stuff done in preparation to my surgery that is scheduled a week from now. It...New Story - The Man Who Didn’t Want Christmashttps://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/999100This is the opening chapter to a story I started over a year ago. It ended up with about 264,500 words. I'd appreciate your input! V PS: As always, there are no 'bad words,' or infrences in this story. I'm quite happy with it! ****************** CHAPTER ONE The Man Who Didn’t Want Christmas...https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/999092Good morning. My wife and I decided to have a 'quiet day' today after several weeks of constant stress. I need to have surgery on my left eye to remove some kind of mass that has been growing fast enough to begin to block my vision. I've had multiple eye surgeries, and while they don't "hurt,"...It's A Long Story... For Realhttps://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/999086Ever start something, get interrupted, then come back hours later and remember you didn't finish? I had an entry all set, someone knocked on the door, and I forgot I hadn't hit send. Oh well. We had another night of temps below 40 (that's what we call "Florida cold!"), but it has gone back up to...https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/999054Good morning. Depending on where you were in northern Florida last night, the temps dropped between 38 and 43. That's not cold in the UP of Michigan, but with all the humidity here, it felt pretty darn cold. Naturally, on nights like that, the dogs will always want to go out in the middle of the...I'm Back - I Thinkhttps://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/999030I've been away the last few days because of several medical problems. I think I mentioned I have 'something' growing inside my left eye, and they want to open it, take a closer look, and hopefully remove it. If that made you gasp, this next one is another heart-stopper. I've got a growth/tumor...War of the Empathshttps://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/998953I was looking at a section of 'my page' and saw the title of a story I wrote over a year ago: " War of the Empaths." It wasn't getting any attention here, and I wanted to take it down, so I stopped posting it and went back to writing. I ended up with over 210,000 words. I was going to split it...About Tomorrow...https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/BigVsMumblings/998948Iposted this on FB because most of my family will see it there... but because I also consider this place as part of my family. I don't get here anywhere near as much as I should, but we are almost done getting our backyard looking decent. When we moved here in late 2021, the backyard had been...
