Happy Mother's Day

I wish the mom's out there a happy and blessed Mother's Day. Thank you for all you do that you think might have gone unnoticed. For the record, it never has been unnoticed, just unmentioned. Sign in to see full entry.

'Interdimentional' is slowly moving ahead, but my research on my next murder novel has caused my brain want to play with it. It sounds weird, but while I work on one story, the other one is playing out in a different place. I think that now that I have the names, the reason, the method, all set out,... It's only 1:30, and I'm ready to go back to bed. I got my nephew out of a problem by showing a time stamped photo of him being up here. This is what happens when everyone wears a mask. He 'looks like' a lot of people, but fortunately, my photo proved that it wasn't him. In fact, as I sit here,... Sign in to see full entry.

I'm caught up handling a family issue - nothing serious, but enough to hang me up for at least another three hours. A nephew of mine has been caught up in something illegal, but he 'swears' he had nothing to do with it. Most times I hear that story, I don't believe it. This time, I do. Why? He was... It's been a long, cold, and windy day. I just told my friends that I need to take a nap. In the mean time, I remembered something that a college prof told me: There are two kinds of writers: Those who are insane and those who are good at hiding it. I used to know that I was in the second group, but... Sign in to see full entry.

I now remember why I like to be alone most of the time. I'm trying my best to not come off as a crybaby, but it is becoming difficult. Kagan and I are fine... but my current house guests? Nothing but a constant intrusion on a level that is taken by your average four-year-old. Good gravy, people.... Sign in to see full entry.

What a weird turn of events. We have a bit over an inch and a half of new snow here. It is 28, looking for a high of 33 today. We had a pleasant two day summer, so it's onward to winter 2021! I still have a lot of company up here, a pleasant expereince that is not condusive for writing. *sigh.* I'm... Sign in to see full entry.

Sometimes

Just in case, I wanted to thank all of you for your concerns over my cancer burnings yesterday. As the Carpenters sang, oh so long ago: Sometimes not often enough We reflect upon the good things And those thoughts always centre Around those we love And I think about those people Who mean so much to... Other than the burned areas feeling as such, I'm fairly much over yesterday's torture. LOL. Actually, my doc friend was amazed that I could sit still while he did all of that. I told him that I just meditate my mind away from the problem at hand. It works for me. There are good and bad things about... Sign in to see full entry.

The doctor spent a solid 45 minutes 'burning' my cancer spots on my face, neck, ears, chest, and back. He profusely apologized for the delay in getting these taken off, and made me another appointment to look at them again next week. He said that he felt a number of them will need to be re-burned...
