After a cold start, today is supposed to hit the mid 50's. That's not Florida weather, but it will do for now. I finally got an appointment to see my family doctor about my advancing skin cancer problems due to the inablity to see the doctor. I suspect that he will apply liquid nitrogen to multiple... I was up talking with Kagan until well after 3AM last night. I'm not sure who benefited more, but suffice to say, we enjoyed the time. Things at his place had gotten quite upsetting for him, but I can already see that he is relaxing now. I have precious few deadlines in life, whereas his previous... Sign in to see full entry.

It has warmed up to about 40 now, and all dogs have been spent a good 45 minutes running in the swampy areas down near the flood zone. Being a biologist at heart, this type of area is always interesting. Between the 'dead things' you can find, the tiny creatures that make their home in the mushy... Sign in to see full entry.
In a bit of contrast to what has become the recent norm, today is a cold and windy situation. It's 34 with a steady 20-30 mph 'breeze.' We are going to wander down by the big river to see if it is gaining or losing water level. I didn't get out there yesterday, but on Saturday, it was well over... Sign in to see full entry.

I made it there and back safely and brought Kagan back with me. I am tired beyond belief after finding little to no traffic, but there was heavy road construction. More tomorrow. V Sign in to see full entry.
Well, in about five minutes, I'm out the door and on the bus, headed south to get Kagan. Finally. He's all tied up in knots over the deal with his mother, and where he is staying, no one seems to care if he lives or dies. For reasons that escape me, I do care, so I'm about to embark in a 750 mile... Sign in to see full entry.

As it turns out, unless something changes between now and tomorrow morning, I am making my trip south to pick up my friend, Kagan, for most of the summer. I've known this young man for 27 of his 29 years on earth. He's had a rough last two years, and needs the solace of the UP to soothe him. Two... Sign in to see full entry.

It appears to be a nice day (for a change) that is well on its way to be quite pleasant. I have been tied up on the phone, talking to people who are thinking about doing some broadcasting, but can't quite 'be sure.' I've never been one to dawdle for long. Yeah, I've jumped off a few bridges that I... Sign in to see full entry.

No rest for the goofy. However, I just approved my second Audible book in the last three days. 'It's A Springtime Thing' should be through ACX.com's tech by the end of the month... I hope! I have three more in various stages of production queues. If nothing goes stupid, I'll have 16 stories on... Sign in to see full entry.
Can Ya Relate?
Due to some other things that came up today, I haven't (yet) had time to work on my new story line. I may or may not get there, but I'm tired, and need to take a sit-down. Just as I was about to shut down my computer, I got this story in my email. I'm sure a few of you might be able to relate. V The... Sign in to see full entry.
