Money. We work so hard for it, but is it really as important as the world makes it out to be? While it is the currency of this Earth, money has dangers that the Lord wants us to be careful of. The Bible tells us in that a preoccupation with making money can lead to a sense of arrogance and misplaced... Sign in to see full entry.

A Second Chance
Today was wonderful! It was great having Vick back. Vick worked for me previously, but went away to deal with some personal problems. She is great now! The world has a habit of making things too complicated. Sometimes all we need is a second chance. Thanks for visiting! The Lord loves you! Have a... Sign in to see full entry.

Great Expectations
Living in such a hurried and busy area as Washington, this place can swallow you whole with its success-driven culture and great expectations. For this reason, I love my quiet time with the Lord each morning. It helps me focus my day and my life on far more important and eternal values than money or... Sign in to see full entry.

A Goodbye Kiss
Today was a sad day. It was our last day in Kindergarten. The children had spent the morning working on standardized tests, so we didn’t read. We joined them to watch a cute movie about vowel sounds. I thought I was going to cry when they blew us a goodbye kiss as they stood in the lunch line.... Sign in to see full entry.

I'm All Ears!
Hard to believe the school year is almost over. It seems like it just started yesterday. I will miss the class very much. I hope I’ve made a difference in their lives, I know they have in mine. I am wondering what to get them for a goodbye gift. Do you have any ideas? If so, I’m all ears! Glad you... Sign in to see full entry.

Reading Meets Spanish
Gone are the days of simple readers. Just when I think I am an adult, I learned something in Kindergarten today. The children had a wonderful time reading to me from their readers, which, by the way, were in Spanish! I was so proud of them. They did a wonderful job. Glad you stopped by. Have a great...
