Stuck On A Bus

I was really looking forward to seeing Kindergarten’s graduation today. Dressed and out of the house by seven, my excitement soon became frustration. The driver ran late and got lost. As a result, not only did I ride around on a bus for three hours, but I completely missed graduation! What a... Sign in to see full entry.

Parting Gift

We are done helping in Kindergarten. However, I need ideas for a good-bye gift. We are going to a party next week and want to take the children a gift. My fellow bloggers, I would appreciate your help with ideas. I am glad you stopped by. Sign in to see full entry.

A Goodbye Kiss

Today was a sad day. It was our last day in Kindergarten. The children had spent the morning working on standardized tests, so we didn’t read. We joined them to watch a cute movie about vowel sounds. How I hope they never experience the stereotypes and discrimination of prejudice. These wishes would hold true in a perfect world. Childhood is about... Sign in to see full entry.

Winding Things Up

I can’t wait to see the children. We didn’t go to Kindergarten last week, and I miss them. Hard to believe the end of the year is fast approaching. What would you give the children as an end-of-the-year gift? I would appreciate your input, as I wind up my time in Kindergarten next month. Glad you... Sign in to see full entry.

A Lifelong Journey

It has been a few weeks since I have helped in Kindergarten. I have really missed the children. Congratulations to FirstFig, whose husband just graduated with his BA in Business at forty-five years old. The adage is true. Learning is a lifelong journey. Volunteering in Kindergarten, I am blessed to... Sign in to see full entry.
