how meaningful is a wafer?
Yes, there is meaning. The people I see that take the wafer feel that meaning. The Lord's Supper is taken in different manners in different denominations. I just attended my father-in-law's funeral. It was a Catholic funeral. Non-catholics are not supposed to take communion.
