Comes around!
There is an old say: everything that goes around comes around. I remember back to when I was studying C programming, and finding that I could not make a penny piece from it. Data!
The work with Access and Excel are going well. I’ve based my knowledge on the book data bases I’ve used over the years. One thing which does bother me, is that all my knowledge will amount to nought once I’m in the chair trying to get the job. Will it stand up? Do I know too much? Will I be blinded by my own cleverness? All these things bother me, but next week I have a full 7 days holiday, and intend to get up to speed on all things Microsoft and data. Reviewing and the Media!
I listened to the radio this morning, and the round up of this morning’s papers. One thing struck me straight away. None of them believed in what they were doing. What is worse, these were the same people who write the stuff in the papers, that others review. And I thought to myself, what a wonderful job. Bird Flu climate change and the whole damn thing!
With the news that Bernard Mathew’s turkey farm is now infected with the deadliest strange of bird flue, and old spectre has revisited these islands. Personally I think they have brought this on themselves with factory farming. How can it be healthy to have all those animals cramped up together? Sprayed with chemicals and god knows what. My struggle
Get me out of here! I would take any job at the moment if it meant getting out of that awful place. Even for less money. If only the net based stuff would pick up, I could do it. But still.
