The Sounds of Silence . . .

A church I would like to see built would be one in which there would be no minister, merely a well-cared for, comfortable place for people to come in out of the elements to contemplate god, however they see god in their own spiritual eyes. It would be a place where one could go to listen to sacred... Sign in to see full entry.

Talking Politics with God

Of all the famous "Men of God" in this country, it seems God only talks politics with Pat Robertson. Now, in other countries, and in other religions which are much more (much too much) theocratic, Gods talk to leaders more often. Mr. Robertson claims that God told him Mr. Bush would be re-elected no... Sign in to see full entry.

Does God Talk to People in Church?

It seems as if God chooses to talk to people outside of church more so than in church. In all the Biblical examples we have, God speaks to his people outside the worship arena. Much of their scripture was deemed not suitable for the Bible; perhaps the truth became too much for the church leadership? Sign in to see full entry.

Gnostic Churches

I've been doing some reading about Gnositc Cristianity, and wonder if there are any Gnostic Churces in our country. Sign in to see full entry.

Is it possible to have a church without tithing?

Is it necessary for a spiritual body to collect money from it's congregants? Or, is money a way of weilding material power in a spiritual setting. Is this really appropriate? Sign in to see full entry.

More on Pagan Churches

Many Pagans also have Altars in their homes, on their desks or even on the dashes of their cars. Their purpose ranges from the central point of their rituals, to being a reminder of their Pagan idelas and values. The items on an altar generally represent the Goddess, Her Consort, the elements and... Sign in to see full entry.
