What are the bare essentials of a church to fulfill God's mission? Is more better, what would you use to furnish a building for the worship of Christ? So many comments are coming at me regarding the appropriateness of having an eleborate church, if a congregation so chooses. The hypocrisy of some Christians commenting on my blog . . .

Christ seems to teach us to be austere in our religion, if not in our entire lives. It is inconvenient to follow Christ's teachings, and some may choose not to follow those "suggestions" Christ gave us, yet, that does not change what he allegedly taught.
