We saw 'Brokeback Mountain'

There is so much to say about this movie but also so little to say. First, Heath Ledger should definitely get an Oscar for the acting job he did on the movie. A very interesting event!

The reunion was yesterday and boy, was I ever surprised at some things that went on there. First of all, I found myself in a group of people that were all talking about interesting things and were all great conversationalists. Was that you I saw at the Biltmore Theatre in 1969?

The musical "Hair" was playing there. I was in one of the very back rows with 15 of my best friends from high school. We had traveled there by bus from Minnesota, laughing and playing practical jokes on each other all the way across the country. Our eyes were huge at the sights of the big city and... Twelve inches- the space between life and death...
